ABSTRACT
Endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastrojejunostomy (EUS-GJ) is a therapeutic option for patients with gastric outlet obstruction (GOO), which provides long-term luminal patency without the risk of tumor ingrowth and/or overgrowth and avoids surgical morbidity. The goal this study was to assess technical success, clinical adverse events associated nasojejunal tube-assisted EUS- GJ technique.This retrospective conducted at single tertiary care center. tube (14F) used perform EUS-GJ (device-assisted method). During period, consecutive GOO who underwent between August 2018 December 2021 were included. Technical success defined as adequate positioning deployment stent. patient's ability tolerate normal oral diet vomiting success.Thirty during period. Twenty-six had malignant GOO, while four benign obstruction. successfully performed in 29 patients, 96.67% (29/30). Nasojejunal technique all patients. Clinical achieved (29/29, 100%). rate 6.6%. procedure, median procedure time 25 min (interquartile range 15-42.5), average hospitalization 4.4 days. Normal meals tolerated by After 210 days follow-up (range 5-880 days), no recurrence symptoms observed.The safe effective treat symptoms.
