ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Baccaurea ramiflora cultivar Ha Chau is a specialty fruit in Can Tho City, Viet Nam, and exhibits potential economic value. However, its genomic data have not been reported. In this study, we sequenced characterized the complete chloroplast genome of B. using Illumina sequencing platform, which has quadripartite structure, including large single copy (LSC), small (SSC), two inverted repeat (IR) regions. The size was 161,378 bp (made up 36.7% GC content), composed an 89,801 LSC (34.3% GC), 18,833 SSC (30.8% 26,372 IR (42.7% GC) newly contained 79 protein‐coding genes, 30 tRNA four rRNA genes. Notably, infA gene internal stop codon whereas only rps16 exon2 remained Chau. Comparative analyses indicated high similarity among individuals regarding structure content. exhibited lower pairwise identity comparison with counterparts. Further phylogenetic analysis also confirmed sister relationship between other individuals. This study provides initial for further studies examining evolutionary history, molecular markers, genetic populations related species Phyllanthaceae.
