ABSTRACT
Abstract Aims Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is an evidence‐based, secondary preventive strategy that improves mortality and morbidity rates in patients with heart failure (HF). However, the implementation continuation of CR remains unsatisfactory, particularly for outpatients physical frailty. This study investigated efficacy safety a comprehensive home‐based cardiac (HBCR) programme combines patient education, exercise guidance, nutritional guidance using information communication technology (ICT). Methods results was single‐centre, open‐label, randomized, controlled trial. Between April 2020 November 2020, 30 chronic HF (New York Heart Association II–III) frailty were enrolled. The control group ( n = 15) continued standard care, while HBCR also received comprehensive, individualized CR, including ICT‐based nutrition ICT via Fitbit® device 3 months. team communicated each once week application messaging tool planned training frequency intensity individually next according to patient's symptoms recorded pulse data during exercise. There no significant adverse events either group. Conclusions Our improved tolerance lower extremity muscle strength our sample, suggesting management programmes as safe effective approach. Considering increasing number worldwide, approach provides efficient method keep engaged activity their daily life.
