ABSTRACT
Abstract Nickel/carbon composites (Ni−C) have been synthesized by a pyrolysis treatment carried out at the temperature of 675 °C, NiO incorporated into pyrogallol‐formaldehyde organic wet gel. Structural and morphological characterizations Ni−C samples were performed XRD SEM analysis, respectively. Electrochemical non‐enzymatic glucose sensors fabricated modifying working electrode surface screen printed carbon electrodes. Cyclic voltammetry amperometric tests in order to investigate electrocatalytic activity differently Ni loaded towards oxidation alkaline 0.1 M KOH solution. The sensor based on 30 % Ni/carbon showed best sensing performance monitoring with sensitivity 670 μA/mM cm −1 liner range from 20 500 μM, detection limit lower than 8 μM S/N=3.
