ABSTRACT
Abstract Simple formulas are derived for the dynamic stiffness of pile group foundations subjected to horizontal and rocking loads. The formulations based on construction a general model impedance matrices as condensation mass, damping, stiffness, identification values these an extensive database numerical experiments computed using coupled finite element–boundary element models. obtained can be readily used design both floating piles homogeneous half‐space end‐bearing applicable wide range mechanical geometrical parameters soil piles, in particular large groups.
