ABSTRACT
In this paper, the central principles of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and corresponding mathematical concepts for its implementation in microgrids are discussed. A systematic framework is suggested that exploits fundamentals multiattribute decision making to (i) evaluate important features failure attributes (ii) effectively identify microgrid critical components with their rates dynamically assessed at various time intervals. Lagrange multipliers a budget-constrained optimization formulation be used determine desired values system reliability indicators. The efficiently determined over through an exponential model empirically obtained via extracted condition scores causes multiple inspection times. time-varying benefit-to-cost ratio mechanism designed which useful lifetime economic benefits increase timely where improved performance can realized. Finally, proposed implemented real-world scenario on part Tehran power distribution network. Extensive numerical results demonstrate applicability effectiveness RCM microgrids.
