ABSTRACT Two interesting taxa of genus Melanoleuca have been reported from cultivated lands temperate regions in Uttarakhand Himalaya and Ladakh Himalaya. These are proposed here as deothalensis sp. nov. drassina The novel presented present communication with detailed taxonomic descriptions, photomicrographs, illustrations, nrITS‐based phylogeny.
