ABSTRACT Gastrodia flavilabella SS Ying (Orchidaceae: Epidendroideae: Gastrodieae) a holomycotrophic terrestrial orchid has been reported for the first time in India from Sikkim Himalaya. A detailed taxonomical description along with color photo plates have provided to aid easy identification details regarding phenology and habitat. Conservation assessment of G. done following IUCN guidelines.
