ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Dynamic mixtures of aminals generated by reversible reaction diamines with volatile aldehydes and ketones are suitable delivery systems to increase the long‐lastingness fragrance perception in functional perfumery applications. N ‐Heteroarylmethyl‐substituted secondary 1,2‐diaminocyclohexane, 1,3‐diaminocyclohexane, 1,2‐diaminoethane, 1,2‐diaminopropane, 1,3‐diaminopropane or 2‐(aminomethyl)piperidine were prepared furan‐, 1 H ‐pyrrole‐, thiophene‐ pyridine‐2‐carbaldehyde reduction intermediate imines NaBH 4 . The performance system was evaluated a fabric softener application presence absence diamine following evaporation mixture 18 on dry cotton using dynamic headspace analysis. Equilibration simultaneously increased concentrations several raw materials above surface as compared reference sample without diamine. Equilibrated found be prolong practical applications perfumery.
