ABSTRACT
Abstract Background The epidemiology, etiology, and management of head neck cancer are evolving. Understanding the perspectives priorities nonresearchers regarding treatment uncertainties is important to inform future research. Methods Using James Lind Alliance approach, patients, caregivers, clinicians responded a survey their unanswered questions about treating managing cancer. Distinct were extracted from responses sorted into themes. Uncertainties already answered in literature removed. Those remaining ranked by patients develop short list priorities, which discussed at workshop reduced top 10. Results One hundred sixty‐one respondents posed 818 uncertainties, culminating 77 for interim ranking 27 discussion workshop. Participants reached consensus on 10, included prevention, screening, treatment, quality life. Conclusion Nonresearchers can effectively collaborate establish research
