ABSTRACT
The necessity of level III irradiation in patients with node-negative advanced sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma (SNSCC) is unclear.Seventy-eight SNSCC were included. Survival rates estimated and compared between treatment groups.Twenty-five received ipsilateral levels Ib II (group 1) 53 plus 2). median follow-up time was 75.56 months. Five-year survival (regional relapse-free survival, overall local distant metastasis-free survival) similar groups 1 2 (all p > 0.05). Irradiation doses to the thyroid larynx significantly lower group than 2.Ipsilateral neck provides regional control results as these III, normal tissue, SNSCC.
