ABSTRACT
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a minimally-invasive ablative technique with an impressive safety profile used to manage thyroid nodules. Current reports RFA describe the treatment of single nodule in single-setting. We first series bilateral single-setting.RFA was performed on patients nodules A cohort randomly selected undergoing for separate setting reported as control cohort.A total 12 were included our series, 6 single-setting cohort. For treated by setting, mean volume reduction rate (VRR) at months 63.79% ± 18.86%. There no complications single-setting, VRR 64.% 18.97%. cohort. Our work describes novel use RFA, providing preliminary insight into its appropriately Future studies larger sample sizes are warranted corroborate and expand findings.
