ABSTRACT
Generalized pustular psoriasis is a rare form of that sometimes associated with extracutaneous manifestations. Evidence for biliary involvement has been suggested in isolated cases. We investigated the prevalence and nature liver abnormalities occurring this disease. Twenty-two patients consecutively admitted generalized who underwent biological tests at time attack during following weeks were included. Twenty (90%) had least one abnormal parameter. Eleven (50%) pronounced abnormalities: jaundice (4/22), gammaglutamyl transferase higher than 5 times normal value (10/22), alkaline phosphatase twice (7/22), and/or aminotransferases 3 (7/22). These returned to range remission psoriasis, suggesting severe could be cutaneous Neutrophilic cholangitis was observed on biopsy. Persistent magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography features similar those sclerosing found 4 studied. No causal factor other identified. In conclusion , our results demonstrate high frequency psoriasis. Biliary related neutrophilic should added spectrum manifestations disease, physicians aware such complication.
