ABSTRACT
The COVID-19 pandemic and social justice movement have highlighted the impact of determinants health (SDOH) structural racism in United States on both access to care patient outcomes. With evaluation for liver transplantation being a highly subjective process, there are multiple ways SDOH place vulnerable patients at disadvantage. This policy corner focuses three different methods reverse deleterious effects SDOH-identify reduce implicit bias, expand optimize telemedicine, improve community outreach.
