ABSTRACT
Abstract The profile of public health professionals (PHPs) and COVID‐19 preparedness is assessed against the employment outcomes (EO), precarious (PE), job satisfaction (JS) European Public Health Master programme alumni. study descriptive, cross‐sectional, conducted from May‐October 2020. A survey was developed to assess EO, PE JS. Participants were recruited by email. SPSS statistics 26 version used perform descriptive analysis. total 189 PHPs participated (65% response) with majority women (66%), mean age 36 years. employed (80%), in non‐governmental organisations (20%), academia (19%). Common positions managerial (37%) consultancy (18%). Majority exposed (81%), most frequent elements ‘temporary employment’ (54%), ‘the lack labour union’ (53%). JS ‘satisfied’. blend scientific knowledge interpersonal competencies, reforms current conditions, development professional entities safeguard PHPs' rights, continuous investment necessary for strengthen pandemic preparedness. Furthermore, monitoring evaluation EO are crucial prepare according needs market be aware needs.
