ABSTRACT
Lutzomyia longipalpis and cruzi are the main sandflies species involved in transmission of Leishmania infantum protozoan Brazil. The morphological characteristics can be used for identification males specimens, while females indistinguishable. Although, is essential to understand vectorial capacity, susceptibility infectious agents or insecticides, there a lack new strategies specimen identification. In this study, Fourier transform infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy combined with multivariate analysis identified intraspecific differences between populations. Successfully group clustering was achieved by principal component analysis. observed related protein content specimens. A classification 100% accuracy obtained using machine learning approach, allowing
