ABSTRACT
Abstract Introduction Polymorphisms of vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF ) gene were evaluated in a number studies to evaluate bladder cancer (BCa) susceptibility but with controversial conclusions. Material and Methods We performed pooled analysis used odds ratios (ORs) corresponding 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) investigate the correlation between rs3025039C/T rs833052C/A variants risk BCa. Furthermore, we utilized silico tools demonstrate relationship expression correlated BCa survival time. Results A total eight including 4359 patients 5417 control subjects enrolled our study. For rs3025039C/T, significant association was indicated this variant homozygote comparison (OR = 1.51; CI 1.13‐2.02; P heterogeneity 0.815) recessive genetic model 1.49; 1.12‐1.99; 0.874), particular an Asian population subgroup. rs833052C/A, observed positive descendants. from tool showed evidence that carcinoma tissue is higher than normal counterpart (transcripts per kilobase million 7.21 vs 6.85; < 0.05). Conclusions The may contribute developing BCa, especially Future larger sample should be continued focus on issue more detail.
