ABSTRACT
The diagnostic utility of radiographic signs complete discoid lateral meniscus remains controversial. This study aimed to investigate the accuracy and determine which sign is most reliably detects presence a in children. A total 141 knees (age 7-16) with age- sex-matched normal were included. following evaluated: joint (LJ) space, fibular head (FH) height, tibial spine (LTS) plateau (LTP) obliquity, femoral condyle (LFC) squaring, LTP cupping, LFC notching, prominence ratio condyle. Prediction models constructed using logistic regressions, decision trees, random forest analyses. Receiver operating characteristic curves area under curve (AUC) estimated compare model fit. yielded best (AUC: 0.909), 86.5% sensitivity 82.2% specificity. LJ space FH showed statistically large AUC compared LTS height obliquity (P < .05 all). cut-off values for diagnosing be <12.55 mm <0.804 ratio, >6.6 when model. On basis results this study, clinical practice, could easily used as supplementary tools
