ABSTRACT
Two simple pixel circuits are proposed for high resolution and image quality organic light-emitting diode-on-silicon microdisplays. The achieve due to structure comprising three n-type MOSFETs one storage capacitor, which integrated into a unit subpixel area of 3 × 9 µm2 using 90 nm CMOS process. improve by compensating the threshold voltage variation driving transistors extending data range. To verify performance circuits, emission currents 24 measured. measured current deviation error A B ranges from −2.59% +2.78%, −1.86% +1.84%, respectively, improved conventional current-source type circuit when is not compensated for, −14.87% +14.67%. In addition, 1.193 V 1.792 V, 2.38 3.57 times wider than range 0.501 V.
