ABSTRACT
Background and Objectives The three‐dimensional (3D)‐printed bone tumor resection guide can be personalized for a specific patient utilized surgery. It is noninvasive, eidetic, easy to use. We aimed categorize the use of 3D‐printed establish in vivo accuracy data. Methods retrospectively reviewed 12 patients, who underwent limb salvage surgery using at single institution. To confirm achievement safe margin, we compared actual planned distances between cutting surface tumor, which were reported final pathological report measured from same virtual plane graphical data design, respectively. Results was categorized as follows: (a) wide excision only, (b) biological reconstruction with structural allograft shaped accordance guide, (c) implant. maximal error 3 mm.
