ABSTRACT
trans,trans-Muconic acid has been widely used as a biomarker in biological monitoring of benzene-exposed workers during routine occupational health services. In the present study, novel microextraction technique, in-syringe ionic liquid-dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction, was implemented for preconcentration trans,trans-muconic followed by analytical determination high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection. Moreover, important variables affecting performance applied technique including needle diameter, volume spiked sample, liquid, salt addition, rotation speed centrifugation, centrifuge time, and ultrasonic time were optimized experimental design. A good linear relationship observed at range 0.032-10 μg/mL between peak area concentration levels (R2 = 0.9997). The limit detection extraction recovery 0.011 >96.2%, respectively. This method provided easy rapid analysis low amounts human urine simple equipment.
