ABSTRACT
Abstract A ternary blend of the bisiminopyridine chromium (III) (Cr‐ 1 ) with iron (II) (Fe‐ 2 post‐metallocenes quinolylsilylcyclopentadienyl halfsandwich complex 3 was supported on mesoporous silica to produce novel multiple single‐site catalysts and polyethylene reactor blends tailor‐made molecular weight distributions (MWDs). The preferred cosupporting sequence this MAO‐treated Fe‐ followed by Cr‐ . Cosupporting does not impair nature components producing fractions $\overline M _{\rm w}$ = 10 4 g · mol −1 , × 5 6 As a function /Cr‐ mixing ratio it is possible control these three polyethylenes without affecting individual average weights narrow polydispersities fractions. Tailor‐made ultra‐broad MWD varying between 420 were obtained. When molar constant, ultra‐high (UHMWPE, > content varied 8 16 wt.‐% as impairing other two sacrificing melt processability. selectively increase low fraction additional Due intimate (UHMPEs) produced cosupported wide range processable magnified image
