Using DNA nanostructures as templates to synthesize shape-controlled polydopamine (PDA) is a promising strategy realize the fabrication of exquisite PDA nanomaterials. However, previous studies using small tiles could only afford very simple structures such lines and crosses due limited space on template relatively low resolution nanopatterns. Therefore, best that can be achieved by this technique carefully investigated. And connecting several together, larger are built up achieve synthesis complicated digital nanopatterned structures.
