ABSTRACT
Abstract Lung cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide, which lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) most common subtype. Metastasis major poor prognosis and mortality for patients, urgently needs great efforts to be further explored. Herein, glutathione peroxidase 8 (GPX8) was identified as a novel potential pro‐metastatic gene in LUAD metastatic mice models from GEO database. GPX8 highly expressed tumor tissues, predicting patients. Knockdown inhibited metastasis vitro vivo, while it did not obviously affect growth. decreased levels p‐FAK p‐Paxillin disturbed distribution focal adhesion. Furthermore, overexpressed cancer‐associated fibroblast (CAF) associated with CAF infiltration microenvironment cancer. silence on fibroblasts suppressed cell migration coculture system. BRD2 RRD4 were transcriptionally regulators GPX8. Bromodomain extra‐terminal inhibitor JQ1 downregulated expression migration. Our findings indicate that cells functions factor against GPX8‐mediated metastasis.
