ABSTRACT
A broadband electrically steerable parasitic array radiator (ESPAR) antenna is presented. The proposed ESPAR consists of an active monopole, 12 sleeve wires, 6 elements and a ground structure. By introducing the wires into antenna, operation bandwidth broadened effectively. Six copper placed around circular plane constitute skirt antenna. skirt, with low wind resistance, reduces elevation angle radiation beam. operating at 2.2 GHz designed fabricated. From results, impedance bandwidth, 2 VSWR, can operate from 1.70 to 2.70 GHz, which wider than conventional working band covers GSM1800/1900/UMTS, LTE2300/2500, 2.4G-WLAN bands. electronic beam steering across range 0° 360° step size 60° realized gain 6.15 7.37 dBi obtained over band.
