ABSTRACT
Abstract In this article, 60 GHz MMIC down‐conversion mixers for a communication system are designed and fabricated on‐chip using 0.12 μm GaAs PHEMT process technology with an f T of 78 max 190 GHz.The characteristics monolithic cascode mixer open stub microstrip line compared those without line, which integrated including matching bias circuits. The measured at RF show conversion gain −16 dB, LO to isolation 21.5 IF 40.5 dB. Especially in the case mixer, characteristic is much better than that line. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
