ABSTRACT
This Special Report presents a description of Geant4‐DNA user applications dedicated to the simulation track structures (TS) in liquid water and associated physical quantities (e.g., range, stopping power, mean free path…). These example are included Geant4 Monte Carlo toolkit available open access. Each application is described comparisons recent international recommendations shown ICRU, MIRD), when available. The influence physics models for electron interactions discussed. Thanks these applications, authors show that most sets (the so‐called “option4” “option 6” sets) enable more accurate powers, dose point kernels, W‐values water, than default set (“option 2”) initially provided Geant4‐DNA. They also serve as reference users interested TS simulations.
