ABSTRACT
Foot involvement is present in approximately 60%-90% of children with Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). It a major cause disability, which can lead to deterioration daily activities and quality life. However, it often overlooked compromise patient management.Our objective was describe the ankle foot JIA appraise functional impact this damage on child's performance life by using validated scores.The cross-sectional study included patients JIA. Functional impairment assessed through Arthritis Functionality Scale (JAFS) Oxford Ankle Questionnaire for children.Twenty-three aged 12.75 ± 3.9 41 months disease duration. After completing score, physical domain appeared be most altered. A long delay diagnosis associated an alteration emotional score. Higher activity significantly both footwear domains As regards clinical examination data, presence pain as well tendinopathy were all score domains. The flat feet affected JAFS reported affect ability activity, school play, domains.Ankle common our study. impaired lower limbs. High pain, tenosynovitis, poorer higher impact.
