ABSTRACT
Centring on nursing homes, we analysed the implementation process of a tablet- and videoconferencing-based telemedicine application from perspectives management, staff physicians.We used qualitative design based interviews to explore diverse telemedicine.We conducted fourteen face-to-face or online with purposeful sample five managers, six nurses three general practitioners treating residents in Austrian homes during COVID-19 pandemic. We condensed data using thematic analysis.Nursing home management implemented rapidly, top-down approach met ambivalence by staff. On part nurses, their professional understanding person-centred care was challenged. Telemedicine also impacted cooperation between physicians, influencing respective roles. Working experience digital documentation had positive effect users' acceptance solution.
