ABSTRACT
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to contribute dietary studies Early‐Middle Holocene Pampean hunter‐gatherers, and evaluate the intra‐group differences. Results from stable carbon isotope analysis organic inorganic fractions bone 26 human remains sites Arroyo Seco 2 (Interserrana area) Monte Hermoso 1 (Atlantic coast) are presented discussed. Isotopic values archaeofauna – including megafauna current fauna also reported. δ 13 C COL isotopic on these suggest existence different diets in groups, individuals consuming mainly marine resources, with a terrestrial diet based 3 plants and/or intake ‐consuming herbivores, finally, mixed diet. data consistent results obtained for most abundant faunal at (guanaco, deer, seal).
