ABSTRACT
It is important to conduct studies on the influence of environmental factors accumulation secondary metabolites in plants, as well cultivation plants and harvesting their raw material. In this study, we examined habitat types, soil composition, climatic altitude content phenolic compounds Iris species from different populations Latvia, Lithuania Ukraine.According high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis, 25 (flavonoids, isoflavonoids, isoflavonoid glucosides, xanthones, phenolcarboxylic acids) were identified methanol extracts 16 samples rhizomes. The quantitative data further analysed by principal component analysis (PCA) reveal impact plants.Iris pseudacorus Latvia had a more diverse composition than Ukraine. Sampled subg. higher those Limniris. PCA results showed that levels rhizomes influenced nutrients. phosphorus potassium significant compounds, whereas nitrogen was not significant. Meteorological small impact; however, sunshine duration positive effect amount precipitation negative impact. The study suggest may be an source pharmacologically active such flavonoids, isoflavonoids xanthones. Studies production are because they contribute knowledge parameters medicinal could employed for material purposes.
