ABSTRACT
Monochorionic twins (MC) are at high risk of adverse outcomes and Doppler investigation umbilical cerebral flows is mandatory for their surveillance. The cerebro-placental (CPR) umbilico-cerebral (UCR) ratios considered non-invasive measures fetal adaptation to hypoxemia. We aimed provide longitudinal references CPR UCR from 16 37 weeks gestation that specific MC twins, compare these with singleton charts.Longitudinal study a cohort consecutive uncomplicated twin pregnancies monitored our unit 2010 2018. estimated centile curves were obtained estimating the median fractional polynomials by multilevel model external centiles through residuals. comparison singletons was made graphic evaluation.One-hundred-fifty-two included 10 ultrasounds each. References in function gestational age presented. Compared singletons, showed an earlier greater circulatory redistribution lower higher values.MC twin-specific suitable serial monitoring demonstrates substantial differences hemodynamic balance must be when interpreting findings twins.
