Abstract The electric vehicle (EV) industry is witnessing unprecedented growth, driven by the global shift towards sustainable transportation. Laser welding has emerged as an important technology in this sector, offering a welcome way of reducing production costs and expanding options manufacturing new batteries e‐drive technology. While laser sources have rapidly evolved, introducing power levels 24 kW beyond, efficient application such high processes remains challenge.
