ABSTRACT
We have developed a new light-trapping scheme for thin-film Si stacked module (Si HYBRID PULS module), where (a-Si:H/transparent interlayer/microcrystalline Si) was integrated into large-area solar cell module. An initial aperture efficiency of 13Á1% has been achieved 910 Â 455 mm PLUS module, which independently confirmed by AIST.This is the first report with an interlayer. The 19% increase short-circuit current this obtained introduction transparent interlayer that caused internal light-trapping.A minimodule shown to exhibit stabilized 12%.Outdoor performance (a-Si:H / micro-crystalline stacked) investigated over 4 years two different kinds (top and bottom limited, respectively). The modules limited top exhibited more efficient than cell, in natural sunlight at noon.
