Abstract Typical classroom management procedures designed to reduce instances of inappropriate social behavior (i.e., tattling and punishment systems) may adversely impact the development relations students with and/or emotional disorders. Two alternative where are encouraged monitor report incidental prosocial behaviors described research supporting their effectiveness in remedying preventing interaction problems within environments reviewed.
