ABSTRACT
The structure of the eutectic liquid alloy is investigated both under ambient conditions and at high pressure/high temperature using X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) diffraction (XRD) techniques. local analyzed double‐edge refinements XAS data. Solid–liquid phase transitions high‐pressure high‐temperature are monitored by combined XRD measurements along several quasi‐isobaric heating runs, allowing to draw a melting line up 10 GPa. established found be slightly below one pure gallium (Ga) follow its trend as expected from nature compound. A series Ga K ‐edge fine (XAFS) spectra measured different pressures indicates absence large structural modifications sites in within pressure range.
