ABSTRACT
Summary In this paper, a three‐layered medium Earth orbit (MEO), geostationary (GEO), and inclined geosynchronous (IGSO) satellite network (IGMSN) is presented. Based on the idea of time‐slot division, novel dynamic hierarchical distributed QoS (quality service) routing protocol (HDRP) investigated, an adaptive bandwidth‐constrained minimum‐delay path for IGSO/GEO/MEO architecture constellation (BMDP‐HAC) algorithm developed to calculate tables efficiently using metric information composed delays bandwidth. The performance IGMSN HDRP evaluated through simulations theoretical analysis. And then, paper further analyzes structure BMDP‐HAC with failure satellites.
