ABSTRACT
Abstract Chiral oxazolinyl hydroxyl ferrocenes have been demonstrated as representative catalysts in enantioselective nucleophilic addition reactions the last few decades. They received much interest from chemists because of not only numerous substitution patterns at their sandwich backbones, but also superior catalytic activity asymmetric transformations. Recent research has revealed that planar chirality these influences stereochemistry products and application scope reactions. Herein, we provide an intensive survey chiral ferrocene compounds, including structures compounds already published, designed synthetic approaches for with different patterns, utilization preparation secondary alcohols using organozinc reagents.
