ABSTRACT
Abstract Iodinated graphene is a promising 2D material with unique physical and chemical characteristics. A new synthesis method that combines iodine intercalation surface reduction of graphite sheets in single step was developed. This uses NaIO 4 m‐CPBA to efficiently incorporate selectively remove oxygen from the network at room temperature. The presence moieties confirmed using various techniques such as XPS photoelectron spectroscopy, HR‐TEM, XRD, FT‐IR, TGA, Raman spectroscopy. high content enhanced d‐spacing ion mobility electrolyte, thereby improving storage capacity. In addition, potential iodinated an electrode investigated through EIS, CV, GCD 1 M H 2 SO solution electrolyte. exhibited EDL capacitance demonstrated impressive specific 535.4 F g −1 rate, current density . Moreover, it exceptional stability over 5000 cycles. These halogenated derivatives are attractive options for use supercapacitors.
