ABSTRACT
EGF-modified Au NP–Pc 4 conjugates showed 10-fold improved selectivity to the brain tumor compared untargeted conjugates. The hydrophobic photodynamic therapy drug Pc can be delivered efficiently into glioma tumors by EGF peptide-targeted NPs. Compared conjugates, EGF–Au tumor. This delivery system holds promise for future of a wider range therapeutic drugs treatment hard-to-reach cancers.
