ABSTRACT
Abstract Mitochondria‐mediated apoptosis (MMA) is a preferential option for cancer therapy due to the presence of cell‐suicide factors in mitochondria, however, low permeability mitochondria bottleneck targeting drug delivery. In this paper, glycyrrhetinic acid (GA), natural product from Glycyrrhiza glabra , found be novel ligand, which can improve mitochondrial and enhance uptake mitochondria. GA‐functionalized graphene oxide (GO) prepared used as an effective carrier targeted delivery doxorubicin into The detailed vitro vivo mechanism study shows that GO causes decrease membrane potential activates MMA pathway. system demonstrates highly improved induction ability anticancer efficacy compared non‐GA‐functionalized nanocarrier system. also toxicity, suggesting it useful tool
