ABSTRACT
Abstract Achieving uniform lithium (Li) deposition is the key to tackle uncontrollable dendrite growth, which hinders application of Li metal anodes. In this study, molten thermally injected into a 3D framework by growing lithiophilic CoO nanosheets on Cu foam (CF). The layer grown CF surface physically adsorbs Li, makes it possible spontaneously wet framework. morphology does not change during injection process and formed multi‐level structure with CF, difficult be achieved previously, as most oxides undergo serious chemical changes due reaction cannot provide stable submicron for subsequent stripping/plating process. super‐assembled provides abundant nucleation sites electrolyte/electrode contact areas rapid charge transfer in composite anode. Therefore, prolonged lifespan symmetrical cells 300 cycles at 10 mAh cm −2 lower polarization achieved, further renders LiFePO 4 Ti 5 O 12 based full improved capacity retention up 87.3% 80.1% after 500 1 C. These results suggest that anode has great prospect.
