ABSTRACT
Abstract The production of bacterial toxins and excessive accumulation reactive oxygen species (ROS) can induce localized oxidative stress, triggering an exaggerated immune response that impedes wound healing culminates in chronic wounds. To address this issue, a microneedle (MN) system loaded with copper‐manganese oxide (CMO) is developed to modulate the hyperimmune CMO@MN exhibits excellent antimicrobial anti‐inflammatory properties by effectively killing bacteria, scavenging ROS, modulating macrophage polarization through their multiple enzymatic activities photothermal properties. RNA sequencing revealed improved therapeutic effect on infected skin mice balancing ratio M1/M2 macrophages promoting cell migration angiogenesis regulation relevant pathways. Overall, patch skillfully balances complex issues between has potential applications treatment other serious infections.
