High Efficiency Dephosphorization by Mixed Injection during Steelmaking Process

ABSTRACT
A new dephosphorization technology with introduction of partial CO2 into O2 is proposed in this paper. Thermodynamic characteristics and mechanism by are analyzed the results show that using as oxidant can change selective oxidation condition steelmaking system, control temperature bath, strengthen stirring ability, finally obtain a high efficiency dephosphorization. Meanwhile, relationship between T C P, pressure CO gas, slag activity, compositions melt obtained follows. Furthermore, trails carried out 30t converter 300t special converter, respectively. It concluded injecting 2 –O mixture beneficial to reduce phosphorus content liquid steel, increase partition ratio phosphorus, iron loss slag.
