ABSTRACT
The research explores the impact of basicity on softening and melting behaviors limonite laterite nickel ore sinter. With global decline sulfide resources, extraction metal from ores has become a primary method. This study conducts comprehensive experimental analysis simulation behavioral characteristics sinters properties soft zone to understand its key influencing factors mechanisms in blast furnace smelting process. Due unique composition sinter, position is generally higher. Increasing can significantly improve range zone, when reaches 1.3, permeability material optimal. Simultaneously, increasing mitigate adverse effects difficult‐to‐reduce difficult‐to‐melt substance, chrompicotite, reduction products.
