ABSTRACT
Lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs), due to their high energy density and long cycling life have been widely applied in a variety of industries, including electric vehicles, small‐ medium‐sized electronic devices, intelligent medical care. Nevertheless, the security real‐time state LIBs is difficult obtain accurately, improving battery's service ensuring battery safety become focus research. Nondestructive testing (NDT) technology has developed quickly reach this purpose, requiring thorough investigation how batteries’ internal structures evolved. The principles, contributing factors, applications various used NDT techniques are summarized discussed review. These inspection can be evaluate condition, observe structure battery, analyze failure phenomenon electrochemical performance operation, etc. Finally, summary outlook given regarding characteristics prospects methods. This overview will show new light on application for promote development next‐generation with security.
