ABSTRACT
Abstract The purpose is to study seismic response and dynamic lateral pressure of the silo wall with different storage conditions under earthquake. FEM was used conduct time history analysis silo. empty smaller than that filled silos, for latter, action, bulk sand particles had a more complex interaction, nodes displacements on columns mainly fluctuated rising. Meanwhile, Mises stress investigated, larger particularly around ring beam due interaction between wall, where stiffness sudden change, at increased gradually action.
