ABSTRACT
To evaluate the survival rate in monochorionic cases with Twin–twin transfusion syndrome treated selective fetoscopic laser therapy our setting. Selective coagulation was performed for treatment of diamniotic twin pregnancies center between March 2013 and 2016. All visible placental anastomoses were coagulated sequencally ablation selected regions vessels carried out where capillary connections observed. We 54 MC twins one DC triplets, reported results 48 completed pregnancies. Median gestational age at 20.5 weeks (range, 17.0 – 25.2 weeks). Distribution Quintero stage Q1 (n:5), Q2 (n:17), Q3 (n:24), Q4 (n:2) cases. The overall 70.1% (68/97) rates both least 1 58.3% (28/48) 81.2% (39/48), respectively. median delivery 32.6 23.1–38.0 interval procedure 12.1 (1.1-17.0). mean birthweight donor recipient 1593 gr (2500–490) 1912 (3050–560) Complete vascular anastomosis couldn't be achieved three due to localisation poor visualisation 6.2% (3/48). Recurrence TTTS observed two (4.1%) TAPS other (6.2%) Dual fetal death occurred five (%10.4) same day (n:3) or intervals (n:2). Pregnancy terminated case hydrops surviving fetus after sibling demise (2.0%). Three pairs died neonatal period very preterm (62%). Triple pregnancy resulted triple survival. associated a considerably high twin. recurrent anemia-polycythemia sequence also lower.
