ABSTRACT
Domestic cat hepadnaviruses (DCHs) have been described as a novel virus that can infect cats. The aim of our study is the first identification and molecular characterizations DCH infection in Turkish domestic blood, organ ascites fluid samples from 550 cats were randomly sampled. The presence nucleic acid was investigated by using both literature newly designed primers. It found hepadnavirus positivity rate 4% (22/550) Türkiye. full genomic characterization performed on 13 22 samples, others characterized nearly genome. In this study, we highlight whole blood should be also screened for DCH, not only serum has frequently done other studies. DCH-infected positive (54.54%, 12/22) Feline leukaemia infection. BLAST results revealed DCHs 86.32%-99.08% homology with strains GenBank database, enabling us to construct phylogenetic trees.According study's results, it suggested added veterinary diagnostic panels worldwide. Additionally, suggest new synthesized primers amplification X gene used diagnosis.
