ABSTRACT
We have quantitated CSF and serum levels of Selenium, iron, copper zinc by Atomic absorption spectrophotometer in 36 patients with parkinson's disease all on L-dopa therapy. Out these 19 showed or positive response to where as 21 off response. These data were compared healthy controls. The results that remained unchanged CSF, significant decrease was found both on/off PD indicating the deficiency which continues worsening clinical condition patients. level Iron selenium increase is a clear evidence relationship between increased iron brain could be correlated dopamine oxidative stress Patients.
